Project Description
Under the vision of the PS/21 Board of Directors, a 107 acre abandoned orchard parcel just north of the Village of Chatham has been transformed into an environmentally friendly venue for performance based art in the Hudson Valley . The process of permitting and approval in the Town of Chatham took over four years. The project is occurring in two phases, with Phase I consisting of an outdoor performance venue located under a tent, and Phase II, scheduled to be open in 2010, consisting of a state of the art performance theater. Construction activities for Phase I began late in 2005 with Phase I of PS/21 opening for a 2006 summer season.
