Project Description
The project involved the renovation of the Hudson Athens Lighthouse. Services Provided
C&A provided structural engineering services, which involved the assessment of specific components of the building and the development of reinforcement reports & details for each. C&A also provided grant assistance throughout the project.
C&A made numerous recommendations for improvement in order to stabilize the settling lighthouse. Specific items include foundation repair including pile replacement and repointing and crack monitoring. In addition, exterior renovations were investigated including full window replacement. |
